Extremely knowledgeable very thorough. I swear he didn’t miss a thing was more than willing to explain everything that he notated and address all of my concerns and questions. I’ve brought three homes in my lifetime and this is the best inspector I’ve ever seen. Will definitely recommend him to all family and friends, and all future ventures will be done by his company. His inspection form is very detailed and easy to understand with pictures and descriptions of all faults found.

Gerald was 10/10. Great personality, direct and to the point. Very thorough. We actually used him twice. I would highly reccomend him to anyone who is looking for a proper inspection. I also think the prices are fair, and it's super easy to book an appointment. Thank you Gerald!

If you are in the market for a home inspector in the Corpus Christi area, look no further than Gerald at Corpus Christi Home Inspections. From start to finish, Gerald was timely, courteous, professional, and — above all — extremely thorough.

What truly set Gerald apart was his dedication to educating me as a homeowner. Throughout the inspection, he took the time to walk me through what he was seeing and teach me how to assess and research the conditions of my home myself. That kind of investment in the customer goes well beyond what I expected.

The inspection report was delivered the same day — an impressive turnaround — and it was exceptionally detailed, with numerous photographs that clearly illustrated every finding. No guesswork, no vague language; just a well-documented, easy-to-follow report.

Gerald didn't stop there. After delivering the report, he personally contacted me to ensure I fully appreciated the more significant findings and answered any questions I had. Then, a couple of days later, he followed up again to make sure I hadn't come across any new questions after having time to review everything more carefully. That level of post-inspection support is genuinely rare.

My family is extremely grateful for Gerald's support throughout this process. Choosing a Master Inspector was absolutely the right call, and Gerald exemplified everything that title should represent. Highly recommend — without reservation.

Gerald is THE person to trust when it comes to your home inspection! As a first time home buyer, I’ve called around and talked with quite a few inspectors but Gerald is the ONLY one who took my call with courtesy and care. He is very knowledgeable and provided me with details and made sure to keep it informative enough for me to understand. He will make sure to take care of you. Just know, when I buy my next house, he’s the one I have on speed dial!

I do not have prior experience in dealing with a home inspection, but Gerald was a very pleasant first experience with it. He is very professional and extremely thorough with the inspection, showing me things during the process that I never would have thought about looking for or considering. He was patient with me as I asked questions about things, answering honestly and not seeming like he was just telling me what I wanted to hear. The cost of the inspection was a wise investment that very much helped my wife and I make our decision on buying the house, and provided peace of mind that dispelled any questions I had regarding the house's condition. I would definitely recommend Gerald to anyone for a home inspection.

We hired Gerald Herrmann with Corpus Christi Home Inspections to inspect our new construction home while we were still out of state, and I truly could not have asked for a better experience. Buying a home from a distance can be stressful, but Gerald made the entire process feel manageable and reassuring.

He was extremely thorough and detail-oriented, carefully inspecting every aspect of the home. He explained each step of the process clearly and made sure we understood what he was looking at and why it mattered. After the inspection, he personally called to walk us through the report in depth and answered all of our questions without rushing us.

His communication, professionalism, and attention to detail gave us real peace of mind during a major purchase. If you need someone you can trust — especially for a new construction inspection or if you’re buying from out of state — Gerald Herrmann is absolutely the one to call. Highly recommend!
